Courtney left this morning to head back home. Sigh…it is going to feel awful empty and boring in my apartment without a guest! Luckily it was another beautiful sunny day so I was distracted. I walked down Oxford Street to window shop. Which was all I could do since the stores don’t open on Sunday until noon. Noon! I continued on to Hyde Park and found the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. It was very beautiful. It is a continuous circle, the water starts at the top and flows both sides down to a pool at the bottom. There are areas that the water rushes around, some places in bubbles, some its smooth…to represent different times in her life. There are three small foot bridges that go over the fountain, to represent her openness, so you can reach the heart of the fountain. Elizabeth met me there with her dog Olivia. We walked all around Hyde Park with her as she chased birds and made friends with other dogs. Afterwards we walked back to Chelsea and had Sunday Roast off of King’s Road. It was really good and we were able to sit out in the back deck! It was still beautifully sunny but not warm enough to take your jacket off. We then hit up the Anthropologie sale where I bought a dress and a top and then went back to Elizabeth’s apartment to sit and relax for a bit. I then headed home by way of the grocery store since now I don’t have a good reason to eat out every night. Unless one of you wants to come visit me now….? I’d be happy to have you!
