London – Day 29

Happy Valentines Day!

Today very fittingly my class talked about Rococo art! During lunch I went to the Bloomsbury Farmers Market. It happens directly across from my apartment every Thursday. There are about 20 booths selling a wide variety of food. There is paella, baked good, sausage rolls, gyoza, venison burgers and so much more. I got a chicken sausage …stew basically. It has beans, corn, mushrooms and huge chunks of chicken sausage all in a sauce. They put it on top of some white rice, and it is delicious. There was a long line for the burgers and the gyoza…which mean they are good and I have to go back again.

Tonight two girls from Georgetown had a Valentines party in their apartment and cooked Mexican food! It was nice getting together with all the Georgetown girls who are in other programs during the week. Afterwards we went to Tonteria to meet Elizabeth, then headed back home. Thursdays seem like a big night out in London, the city was very lively.

Hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day!
